The interests of the individual member companies are mostly specific to their sector. The WGA provides expert support in these issues. But on top of that all of our members, however different their sector may be, are linked by common issues which affect everyone concerned in wholesale, import and export. It is essential here to take the broad view, and to act on that basis. The WGA makes sure that is done. We provide for expert exchange between our members, to ensure coordinated action. The result is a high degree of efficiency.

The combination of sector-specific know-how and interdisciplinary knowledge is also reflected in the WGA’s efficient human resources structure. The management of the WGA simultaneously exercises management functions in the sectoral associations. Whenever members approach their sectoral associations with specific questions, they are automatically talking to the WGA at the same time. That closes the cycle of professional associations, bringing them together in a strong partnership – the WGA.
