The WGA is the right organisation for all who need support in specialist issues concerning the individual sectors, or want to benefit from interdisciplinary knowledge and joint initiatives which go beyond the borders of the individual sectors, or who want to make use of additional specialist knowledge in the area of foreign trading.
More than 1000 companies worldwide currently benefit from the experience and accumulated expertise of the WGA. As a competence centre, the WGA focuses the complete know-how of the individual trade associations. And on top of this, the services provided for the individual sectors are complemented by expertise specific to foreign trade. Wherever inter-sectoral issues have to be addressed, the individual associations within the WGA get together to establish high-impact representation of their foreign trade interests.
COMPETENCE FOR ALL SECTORS
The WGA has interdisciplinary expertise to represent the interests of its members in the ongoing process of legislation and regulation, and for the latest standards in import and export. It maintains close contacts with representatives of government and administration, at national and international levels, to ensure ongoing positive influence in the interest of its members.ACTIVE AT SEVERAL LEVELS
The WGA is active at two levels – it is the central contact partner for its members in all issues concerning the individual sectors. At the same time, the WGA works on issues which affect the member companies of all of its sectors – in Hamburg, Berlin and Brussels.
